Service was excellent, waitress was knowledgeable and had good menu recommendations. Our food came out fast and was piping hot. The chicken fried steak had a rich beefy flavor and crispy breading. Our drinks never ran empty and we were offered Togo cups. Bathroom was well lit and smelled clean. They even pre-bussed the table. 10/10.

We were just passing through and stopped in on a whim. I can not stress how good the food was here. The prices are like going back in time when things were more realistic. Someone mentioned the wait time for food and we did wait awhile but this is home cooked and so great!! A must stop if you have the time! Also, the wait was not to bad just not fast food for sure.

Loved it for three days in a row! We were visiting from SC and plan on seeing y’all again next year. Keep up the good work ! The food, the, people, and the service was top notch!! I would give it ten stars if I could .

Ate there today. Great small cafe, highly recommend the catfish. Baked potato was good, and cheese balls tasty. Salad could have a few more ingredients, as it only had lettuce and tomato. Sweet tea very good, not to sweet.

Howard's is an old nondescript roadside building that's totally lacking anything that would get your attention, but I had an excellent breakfast at Howard's. Scrambled eggs were cooked just right. Not too soft or scorched. Hash browns were perfect, and biscuits and gravy were good. OJ was just OJ that goes well with breakfast. Interior atmosphere matches the exterior. There's a chalkboard listing specials for each day, and I'm looking forward to trying a couple.

On Leap Day, I went to Howard's for lunch. As a vegetarian I searched the menu to build an order. I was very satisfied and would recommend that vegetarians consider this place for wonderful side dishes and salad besides the cozy atmosphere!

We are on vacation from northern WI and ate here with our friends. It was awesome, I had steak and husband had taco salad. Served fast, hot and delicious.
